THE WEBSITE:
There is more in the Holy City Lifestyle, LLC collection than what is shown on the website. I frequently add items to the HCL inventory. We will discuss what you want for your event at our first consultation.
THE PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT:
After our first consultation, you will receive a proposal. Once that is signed, you will receive a contract. Once the contract is signed and returned with the 50% non-refundable Event Deposit Fee, the items are officially reserved for your event. By signing the contract and submitting the Event Deposit Fee, you are agreeing to the Holy City Lifestyle, LLC terms and conditions.
RENTAL TIME:
The rental time depends on the event time and location, the venue, and the amount of rented Holy City Lifestyle, LLC items. If, for any reason, you wish to rent the items longer than the event requires, there will be an additional 20% Extended Rental Fee. These details will be in the proposal and contract.
EVENT RESERVATION:
HCL items should be rented at your earliest convenience to ensure availability. Due to their vintage nature, they are one-of-a-kind and not easily duplicated, so reserve them as soon as you can. Reservations are officially confirmed once the contract has been signed and returned along with the 50% non-refundable deposit. This deposit can be paid with a credit card, cash, check, or Venmo. Checks with insufficient funds will incur a $50 fee.
EVENT CANCELLATION:
In the case of the event being cancelled for any reason, the 50% non-refundable Event Deposit will not be refunded. If the remaining 50% balance has been paid, the entire 50% will be refunded if it is prior to 10 business days before the event. If the event cancellation is within 10 business days of the event, 25% of the 50% balance will be refunded.
AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS:
It is understood that items are not guaranteed to always be available due to loss or damage. And because these items are vintage and irreplaceable, an exact item may not be available. For this reason, I begin preparing and packing your rented items as close to your event date as possible.
Each item is thoroughly cleaned and polished, when applicable, by Holy City Lifestyle, LLC before and after your event. Each item is then carefully packed for your event.
It is understood that vintage items may have slight imperfections, although I am extremely particular when choosing them for the HCL inventory. However, should there be an imperfection, it is not considered a defect and will be noted in the contract.
DELIVERY/PICKUP:
Holy City Lifestyle, LLC delivers and picks up all rented items to and from the event location only. If the location is more than 10 miles from 29412, you will be charged a minimum Travel Fee.
CHINA/DISHES CARE:
Holy City Lifestyle, LLC will thoroughly clean all dishes after picking them up from your event location. All dishes must be free of all food or debris and set aside prior to my picking them up at the event location.
LINEN CARE:
Just as the china and dishes, all linens will be thoroughly cleaned after your event. Please do not wash and/or dry them. Linens that are returned with stains, holes, candle wax, etc will have a replacement amount deducted from your Damage Deposit.
GLASS CARE:
Holy City Lifestyle, LLC will thoroughly clean glassware after picking them up at your event location. However, please scrape all food, debris, beverages, etc from each item and set it aside for pickup.
SILVER CARE:
All silver items will be thoroughly cleaned and polished after your event. However, please wipe all food, liquid, and/or debris from each item and set aside for pickup.
INVENTORY CARE/FEES:
Holy City Lifestyle, LLC expects all items to be delicately cared for during your reservation. Items must be returned in the same shape that they were in at the time of drop off. All items should be free from any food, liquid, or other debris and carefully set aside before I pick them up. Nothing may be left outdoors after the event due to weather damage and theft. Any item that gets lost or damaged will incur a replacement fee.
Any item(s) that is that is not ready for pickup at the time listed on the contract will incur a Late Fee. Any item that is excessively dirty or stained will incur a Cleaning Fee.
Each item will be examined after the event. If there is a Damage Fee, you will be notified with a thorough list. Should the Damage Fee not cover the fee(s), you will be notified and your credit card will be charged the additional amount.
